Mayor of Welshpool - Cllr Steve Kaye

First elected in 2008 as a member for Gungrog ward,he is the Town Mayor and Chair of the Council.  He serves on the following committees: Finance and Administration Committee; Planning, Council Services & Property Committee; Development and Environment and the  Town Clerks Committee.  He serves as a council representative on the following outside bodies: Welshpool Projects Limited and Welshpool Business Forum (chair).

Cllr Hazel Evans - Deputy Mayor

First elected in 2008 Cllr Evans is a member for Castle Ward, she serves on the Planning, Development and the Environment Committee.  She serves as a council representative on the following outside bodies: Burgesses' Lands Management Group - Objective 2 as a representative of Castle Ward;  Local Consultation Forum and the governing body of Oldford School.

Cllr Estelle Bleivas

First elected to the council in 2004 Cllr Bleivas is a member for Gungrog Ward, she acted as the Chairperson of Welshpool Town Council and Mayor from 2010 to 2012.  She serves on the Planning, Development and Environment Committee and the Care Committee.   She serves as a council representative on the following outside bodies: Burgesses' Lands Management Group - Objective 2 as a representative of Gungrog Ward; the Local Council Forum and the governing body of Gungrog School and the  Powysland Club.

Cllr Heather Chave

Cllr Heather Chave (elected April 2015) has been very active in the community over a long time, mainly with the Carnival.  Heather serves on the Planning, Development and Environment Committee and the Events and Tourism Committee.  She also serves on the North & Mid Wales Association of Local Councils, the Burgesses Land Trust objective 2 Committee and the Powysland Library.

Cllr Chris Davies

Cllr Chris Davies was elected in a by-election held on 13 September 2012 for a vacant Town Council Seat following the local government elections in May 2012 and is a member for Castle Ward.  He serves on the following committees: Planning, Development and Environment Committee and the Events and Tourism Committee.

Cllr Malcolm Douglass

First elected to the council in 2002 Cllr Douglass is a member for Llanerchyddol Ward.   He serves on the following committees:  Care Committee; Planning, Development and Environment Committee; Archives Committee and the  Town Clerks Committee.   He is the council representative on the Shrewsbury - Aberystwyth Rail Passengers' Association (SARPA).

Cllr Nicola Morris

Cllr Nicola Morris elected via by-election on 15th December 2016.

Cllr Phil Pritchard

First elected in 2008 Cllr Pritchard is a member for Castle Ward.  He serves on the following committees: Finance and Administration Committee; Council Services and Property Committee; Planning, Development and the Environment Committee: Town Clerks Committee and the Events andTourism Committee.  He also serves on the Belan Community Association.

Cllr Pritchard is also the elected member to Powys County Council (County Councillor and Cabinet Member) for Castle Electoral Division.

He is also a member of the Brecon Beacons National Parks Authority and  a Director
of The Welsh Ground Improvements Company which allocates significant grants to football clubs throughout the area for the improvement and maintenance of football grounds for persons of all ages.

Cllr David Senior

Cllr Derek Simms

First elected in 2012 Cllr Simms is a member for Llanerchyddol Ward.
